In 2006, she received the top business reporting honor, the Gerald Loeb award; and in 2007, she was awarded the Victor Cohn Prize for Excellence in Medical Science Reporting. She now specializes in health and biotechnology, and currently lives in Mumbai. A true story, The Cure is her first book.

Srikumar Rao, Ph.D. is currently an adjunct professor at London Business School and the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
